High Holidays

High Holidays

We approach the Days of Awe, the High Holy Days: Rosh HaShanah and Yom Kippur with a mixture of anticipation and solemnity. The 10-day period, beginning with Rosh HaShanah and ending with Yom Kippur, is a time of reflection, prayer and participation in our committed community of worshippers.

In addition to evening services for both Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur/ Kol Nidre, we have a Selichot service, a Tashlich service, a class on a current topic, speakers, and a children’s service.

If you have questions or want more information about attending High Holidays at Temple Israel, please contact us.
